Spray Painting Industry Waste Gas Treatment Solution – Zeolite Rotor Concentration + Thermal Oxidation Process
A few years ago, the domestic mechanical spraying industry was in a crude form. Usually, a few prefabricated buildings were constructed, with just a few workers inside, forming a simple spray painting room. Under this spray painting form, almost all the spray painting exhaust gases were discharged into the atmosphere. Some enterprises that took measures for treatment merely added an activated carbon tank for filtration, and the situation where "activated carbon is installed once and never replaced" was very common. These situations all led to the fact that the exhaust gas treatment in the previous spray painting industry was almost completely absent.
Qingdao Huashijie Environmental Protection started to pay attention to spray painting exhaust gas treatment since the company was founded in 2004. After summarizing and analyzing, it was concluded that mechanical spray painting exhaust gas generally has a large volume and low concentration, and the front-stage collection is extremely imperfect. In this case, if the traditional adsorption recovery or RTO method is used for treatment, not only will the equipment volume be very large, but additional fuel is also needed to maintain the system operation, and the annual equipment energy consumption is unacceptable for most enterprises.
After technical exchanges and introductions with advanced environmental protection countries in Japan and others, the subsidiary of Qingdao NaboCo Environmental Protection, Qingdao Naboco Environmental Protection, developed the "molecular sieve rotor + catalytic combustion" treatment process. The sealing system of the adsorption rotor of zeolite molecular sieve is divided into the treatment area and the regeneration area. The adsorption rotor rotates slowly to ensure that the entire adsorption is a continuous process. When the exhaust gas containing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) passes through the treatment area of the rotor, the exhaust gas components are adsorbed by the adsorbent in the rotor, and the rotor gradually becomes saturated. The treated exhaust gas is purified and discharged. At the same time, in the regeneration area, hot air passes through the adsorbed saturated rotor, causing the adsorbed exhaust gas to be desorbed and carried away by the hot air, thereby restoring the rotor's adsorption capacity, achieving the effect of continuous removal of VOCs while also increasing the exhaust gas concentration, and facilitating catalytic oxidation treatment.
Qingdao Naboco Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. became the first enterprise with independent rotor intellectual property rights for exhaust gas treatment. Now, the Naboco molecular sieve rotor technology has been applied in multiple spraying industries, helping many automotive and mechanical spraying enterprises solve problems. They affectionately call the Naboco molecular sieve rotor the "Chinese Core".
