I. Production Process of the Furniture Factory

The spraying agent used in the painting process mainly consists of paint, and a certain amount of organic waste gas is discharged. The main components of the organic waste gas are paint dust (paint mist) and volatile benzene and its derivatives (commonly known as thinner), which have a certain impact on the surrounding environment.

II. Formation and Hazards of Pollutants:
1. Paint mist: Liquid paint forms atomized dust particles under the action of air pressure, in a viscous state, easily adhering to people or objects they come into contact with, and it is also a potential carcinogen, causing pollution to the entire atmospheric environment.
2. Volatile organic waste gas: Organic solvents, mainly benzene, toluene, and xylene, are used to dilute the paint to achieve a smooth and beautiful surface effect on the object, but the organic solvents are highly volatile and cannot remain on the object surface for a long time. They will all be released during the spraying and drying process, thus forming organic waste gas. Its characteristics are colorless and highly irritating. It spreads in the atmosphere with the flow of air and can be inhaled through the human respiratory system or directly affect the human body, causing harm to the respiratory system, blood, heart, lungs, liver, mucous membranes, eyes, nerves, etc., and can also directly harm people through the skin.
