Exhibition Hall E3 of the Circular Economy Expo - Discover the Development History of Napotec® Molecular Sieve Rotors Together
Global supplier of environmental protection equipment and core materials - Qingdao Nabotech Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. Independently developed molecular sieve rotary wheels domestically and achieved mass production. These wheels have been applied in over 90 enterprises. Technology provides clean and comfortable air for life! Come to the Environmental Expo at E3-3730 to see the rotary wheels. Every day, there will be an hour-long expert lecture waiting for you.
For large-volume and low-concentration working conditions that account for 60% of the market emissions, the most popular treatment process is the molecular sieve rotary wheel adsorption and concentration combined process. However, most of the molecular sieve rotary wheels are currently imported from abroad, but the prices are relatively high, which hinders their large-scale application. Our Nabotech® company has always been committed to continuous research and development of core materials and technologies. After 8 years of experimentation and exploration, we obtained the first batch of national scientific research achievement certification in 2013.

The international development history of molecular sieve rotors
In 1974, the first patent in Sweden involved molecular sieve rotors. In 1988, the Japanese company Western Technical Research Corporation was the first to develop molecular sieve rotors for industrial VOCs treatment. Additionally, the related products of Japanese company Nijagashi also represent the current advanced level of the world.
The application of molecular sieve rotors in China began in the late 1990s, and then a few devices were gradually introduced from abroad. However, the price was relatively high, which affected their large-scale application.
The development history of Napotec® molecular sieve rotors
Napotec® NaboCo Company began to independently develop molecular sieve rotors in 2005. In March 2014, it produced the first molecular sieve rotor product in China. The following is the development history of molecular sieve rotors and related patents.
In 2005, the research and development of molecular sieve rotors began.
In 2007, the pilot equipment for processing honeycomb corrugated materials was successfully developed.
In 2011, a breakthrough was achieved in the key technologies of ceramic fiber paper.
In 2013, Huashi Jie established the first production line of molecular sieve rotors.
In March 2014, the first molecular sieve rotor product in China was produced domestically.

The molecular sieve rotor is a representative example of Naboco's implementation of the innovation concept.
During the engineering design and application process of a large number of activated carbon adsorption equipment, the engineers of our company have accumulated mature design and development experience for fixed-bed adsorption and concentration systems, and have absorbed the different product characteristics of similar industries such as industrial dust removal and dehumidification. Subsequently, we have developed rotor-type adsorption bed structures such as rotor, rotor ring, and rotor wheel for activated carbon.
At the same time, the R&D personnel of Nabotec have been conducting research on molecular sieve adsorbents with special adsorption properties and have made many progress in VOCs adsorption/desorption. Since the second half of 2012, the company's adsorption concentration equipment has begun to use molecular sieve materials and has partially replaced activated carbon materials. Firstly, a large-scale and long-term trial and production work was carried out at the company's development base. In 2013, Huashijie established the first molecular sieve rotor production line. In 2014, Nabotec® Naboco produced the first domestic molecular sieve rotor product and put it into engineering practical application. The adsorption efficiency exceeded activated carbon, and in terms of adsorption capacity and desorption rate, it exceeded similar products from abroad. This formed Huashijie's independent intellectual property rights and registered the Nabotec trademark. This indicates that the development of Nabotec® molecular sieve rotor technology has completely achieved domesticization, ending the long-term monopoly by foreign companies.
